Can’t imagine how scary that crash had to be for his family to watch. Not knowing in the immediate aftermath had to be brutal.

Life is fragile. Unless you are Ryan Newman in which case hit life with a bus because life doesn’t care.

The fact he can walk out the front door of that hospital less than 48 hours after that crash is insane. Obviously I wasn’t the only one not expecting this because they seem to have forgotten to bring him some shoes to walk out in.

That’s impressive, all the safety features worked as designed and probably saved his life. That and the perfect response from track EMT and hospital staff likely made the difference.
